“一带一路”背景下商丘古城文化外宣翻译研究

随着国家“一带一路”倡议的深入推进,“一带一路”共建国家在文化方面加强了交流,加深了理解,实现了优势互补,也为拥有五千年历史的中华文化提供了传播的平台,商丘作为一带一路重要节点城市,要发展就要加强对外宣传。基于“一带一路”背景,通过商丘古城文化外宣翻译的现状和问题分析,针对商丘古城现有对外翻译资料存在的问题,该文运用美国语言学家尤金·奈达的“功能对等”翻译理论,有针对性地提出了三种符合商丘古城文化特点的翻译策略(变意合为形合、用音译直译加注释的方法、关注文本交际功能),并就商丘古城文化外宣翻译工作给出具体建议,以期科学合理地解决这些难题。

Abstract:

With the in-depth advancement of the national Belt and Road Initiative, countries which along the route have strengthened cultural exchanges, deepened understanding, achieved complementary advantages, and also provided a platform for the dissemination of 5,000-year-old Chinese culture. As an important node city of the Belt and Road, Shangqiu needs to strengthen its external publicity to develop it. Based on the background of the Belt and Road, through the analysis of the current situation and problems of the cultural external propaganda and translation of Shangqiu Ancient City, and the existing external translation materials of Shangqiu Ancient City, this paper uses the "functional equivalent" translation theory of Chinese dialectician Eugene Nida to propose three translation strategies that meet the cultural characteristics of Shangqiu Ancient City in a targeted manner(change the meaning to form; transliteration literal and annotated method; pay attention to the communicative function of the text) and give specific suggestions on the translation of cultural propaganda in the ancient city of Shangqiu, and solve these problems scientifically and reasonably through these two effective ways.
